Most Americans have forgotten that Guantanamo prison camp even still exists. But Amnesty International hasn’t.
\nPeople are still held there without charge or trial. Just like in the dictatorships we love to criticize overseas.\u00a0It’s well past time to close it down.<\/p>\n

On Thursday Jan 11th at 7:00PM there will be a guest speaker at the UW School of Law,\u00a0Jonathan Hafetz.\u00a0Jonathan Hafetz is a senior staff attorney with the ACLU Center for Democracy. He is also a professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he teaches courses on constitutional law, national security law, and international law.<\/p>\n
