Join us on Thursday, January 27<\/strong>, 7 – 9pm<\/strong> at the University of Washington, Savery Hall<\/a>, Room 260<\/strong> for a panel discussion entitled \u201cFrom Local to Global: A Maternal Health Crisis<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The panel will focus on the maternal mortality crisis in the United States and across the globe and is designed to raise awareness and spark discussion about the issue.\u00a0 It will open with a screening of a clip from the documentary, \u201cDead Mums Don\u2019t Cry<\/a><\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Members of the panel include Dr. Vivien Davis Tsu<\/strong> of PATH<\/a><\/strong>, Professor Stephen Gloyd<\/strong> from the University of Washington\u2019s Global Health Department<\/a><\/strong>, Dr. Michael Tuggy<\/strong> of Swedish Medical Center<\/a><\/strong>, and moderator Jason Disterhoft<\/strong> of Amnesty International USA<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n
