Join us for our monthly meeting on Tuesday August 2, from 6:30 \u2013 8:30 pm<\/strong> in the den <\/a>at the Mosaic Coffee House<\/a><\/strong>, 4401 2nd Ave NE. First half hour is letter writing and socializing. Meeting starts at 7 pm.<\/p>\n

We will be discussing ideas for future human rights events & activities, including a possible\u00a0photo action of signers of our paper airplanes\u00a0as part of our campaign to apologize to\u00a0Maher Arar<\/a><\/strong>, a Canadian citizen who was tortured after rendition to Syria by the US.\u00a0 Bring ideas for this and other human rights actions!<\/p>\n
