Join us for our monthly meeting on\u00a0Tuesday, February 5, from 6:30 \u2013 8:30 pm<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0den\u00a0<\/a>at the\u00a0Mosaic Coffee House<\/a><\/strong>, 4401 2nd Ave NE. First half hour is letter writing and socializing. Meeting starts at 7 pm.<\/p>\n

This month’s featured speaker, Eugene Martin<\/strong>, Board member<\/a> of the UN Association, Seattle Chapter<\/strong><\/a>, and local AI activist and Group 4 member, will talk about Human Rights and the United Nations.<\/p>\n

Participating in a lobby day against the death penalty in Olympia<\/strong>\u00a0with our allies as part of Safe & Just Alternatives<\/strong><\/a> on February 12<\/strong>. Free transportation available from downtown Seattle (and downtown Tacoma, should you live nearer to there). Details and register at:\u00a0http:\/\/www.sjawa.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Seattle participation for \u00a0AIUSA \u00a0and allies in dance action of One Billion Rising<\/strong><\/a> to end violence against women<\/strong> on Valentines Day, February 14\u00a0<\/strong>(details still to be determined).<\/p>\n

Local subsidies to attend the AIUSA Annual General Meeting<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>taking place from\u00a0March 22 – 24<\/strong> in Washington, D.C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
