First half hour is letter writing and socializing. Meeting starts at 7 pm.<\/p>\n<p>February is Amnesty&#8217;s <strong>Death Penalty Abolition Month<\/strong> and we will be discussing the case of <strong>Reggie Clemons<\/strong>, whose case is scheduled to be heard by the Missouri Supreme Court that day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/our-work\/cases\/usa-reggie-clemons\">http:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/our-work\/cases\/usa-reggie-clemons<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Want to get further involved? Consider joining the <strong>Washington Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty<\/strong>&#8216;s Lobby Day in Olympia on Weds. Feb. 12:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/abolishdeathpenalty.org\/\">http:\/\/abolishdeathpenalty.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other possible February actions include advocating for <strong>free expression in Russia<\/strong> with the upcoming <strong>Sochi Olympics<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/pdfs\/SochiToolkit2014.pdf\">http:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/pdfs\/SochiToolkit2014.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>and involvement in one of the <strong>One Billion Rising Valentine&#8217;s Day Actions<\/strong> on Fri.
