Seattle Writes For Rights

Saturday, December 7th, 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Seattle Public Library Fremont Branch

Each year Amnesty International celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights by highlighting 10 cases around the world representative of our larger work. This year’s cases focuses on young activists, those who are targeted for attempting to be involved in deciding their own futures. Come join us a we demand justice for these activists in peril.

AIUSA Western Regional Conference

This Saturday & Sunday, November 9th & 10th, Seattle will host the Western Regional Conference at University of Washington Alder Hall. This two-day event will feature education sessions on such diverse subjects as:

*Gun Safety

*Surveillance technology

*Climate Change
